Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a great 2014 and I hope you were able to participate in the Centennial QSO Party, if so comment on how you did!

We’re currently in the process of installing a voted receiver in Pueblo and another voted receiver at Cedarwood with a 100 watt transmitter at the Cedarwood site on 449.975/444.975.  We’re hoping that the transmitter at Cedarwood will provide the same and better coverage to the East, North and South with awesome receiver coverage from the current Pueblo site and the new receiver at Cedarwood.  Stay tuned, to my knowledge this will be the first voted receiver in southern Colorado!

Update:  The fun machine joined forces with RMHAM in building the southern microwave ‘backbone’ to carry audio/video/data.  The northern and southern networks were joined on June 27, 2014 with WØVG basically driving the golden spike as he cut routes from public internet sources over to the private microwave.  We’re now proud to say our network stretches from Ft Collins up north to Boone which is 20 miles east of Pueblo.  Stay tuned, we’re not done yet!!!

The Boone repeater is off air or not working correctly.  It seems to be transmitting but not receiving correctly.  I’ll arrange access and try to get it fixed.

The Boone repeater is back on the air.  Boone was placed in service yesterday on it’s new coordinated frequency which is 447.275 with a minus offset and a 100.0 hz tone.

The Boone repeater will be switching frequencies very soon.  The new frequency is 447.275 with a minus offset and a 100.0 hz tone.  Be sure to update your radios when the time comes.

Did you know the Cotopaxi repeater is back on the air?  It’s now on it’s new frequency 145.325 with a minus offset and a 100.0 hz tone.

The Pueblo West repeater was put back on air yesterday (4-8-2014) by K0JSC.  Apparently there is a leak in the feedline and water is getting into the building all the way to the repeater.  We will be “tweaking” it some more in the coming months.
